Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Watamu

You’ll be picked up from the SGR station and transferred to Watamu Joy Villa, where you’ll check into your apartment, freshen up and enjoy breakfast as you settle in. Spend the morning relaxing before heading out after lunch for a refreshing beach walk, followed by a visit to Watamu Village and later Crab Shack to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the mangroves. Return to your villa for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Malindi Marine – Safari Blue Experience

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at around 7:30 am for a full-day Safari Blue excursion. Enjoy snorkeling, dolphin spotting, swimming in the crystal-blue ocean, and a visit to Wakawaka Island for a delicious seafood lunch, soft drinks, and traditional coastal dance performances. Later in the afternoon, return to the villa, freshen up, relax by the swimming pool, enjoy dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Gede Ruins – Vasco Da Gama – Falconry Tour – Mambrui Sand Dunes

After breakfast, depart at 8:00 am for a full-day road trip through the region’s top cultural and historical sites. Visit the ancient Gede Ruins, explore Malindi Town, see the iconic Vasco da Gama Pillar, stop at the Falconry Birds Farm, and later head to the majestic Mambrui Sand Dunes. Return to the villa to freshen up and relax before dinner. Guests interested in nightlife can head out to the local clubs before returning for overnight.

Day 4: Arabuko Sokoke Forest – Mida Creek Boardwalk – Sunset Experience

After breakfast, head out for a guided exploration of the magical Arabuko Sokoke Forest, home to rare bird species and unique coastal wildlife. Continue to Mida Creek for a tranquil boardwalk experience and lunch. At around 4:00 pm, visit Sita Sunset for a perfect sundowner moment. Return to the villa for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Mombasa City Visit – Departure

After breakfast, check out and start your drive to Mombasa. Enjoy short visits to Mama Ngina Waterfront, the iconic elephant tusks, and other highlights of the city before being dropped at the SGR terminus for your train back to Nairobi.
